TULSA, Oklahoma -- A disassembled oxygen device sparked a bomb scare and forced the evacuation of 400 American Airline Maintenance employees Thursday afternoon.

The Tulsa Bomb Squad was called in to investigate the device that came in through the facility's reclamation department, a place where parts are cataloged for re-use, sale or storage.

The device was a self contained breathing apparatus for a pilot. It had been disassembled and none of the crew had seen it that way before.

Employees were allowed back into the facility around 5:00 p.m.
