CLAREMORE, Oklahoma -- Oklahoma gets a moment to shine in the international spotlight. Claremore unveiled the poster promoting its 32nd annual Bluegrass and Chili Festival -- which is coming up in just a few weeks.

Douglas Henderson created this year's poster and 10 others -- including one chosen to represent all of Oklahoma at the new American embassy in the Philippines.

"Coming up with 11 different designs using banjos and chili is sometimes a little rough," said artist Douglas Henderson.

The Bluegrass and Chili Festival gets started on Thursday September 8th. It includes three stages of music, plus arts and crafts, a car show and Kiddie Korral.

And, of course, there's plenty of food with the Mid-America Chili Cook-Off where the winner gets a chance to compete on a national level.
