BROKEN ARROW, Oklahoma -- A Broken Arrow officer caught two men she says were about to get away with more than $6,600 worth of communications cable.

Police say Robert Taylor and Jeremy Furbeck were using a bucket truck to cut down more than 450-feet of cable filled with copper.

Police say the Locust Grove men told the Broken Arrow officer they were with a subcontracting firm employed by Windstream – but could not produce a work order.

Now, detectives are trying to figure out if the two men are responsible for any other recent copper thefts.
