TULSA, Oklahoma -- In a rehab start with Tulsa, pitcher Alex White was dominant for the Drillers, keeping the Midland offense in check and lifting Tulsa to an 8-0 victory.

The right-handed pitcher threw 7.2 shutout innings for Tulsa (56-66), allowing just three hits and striking out four in the win. Midland (55-67) starter Lenny DiNardo (1-1) was blasted in his outing, giving up three earned runs on five hits – including back-to-back home runs in the third – in five innings of service.

Tulsa had no shortage of offense in the matchup, scoring five of its eight runs in the sixth and seventh innings.

Ben Paulsen led off the bottom of the sixth with a double and Wilin Rosario followed with a homer to left field, his 18th of the season, to give the Drillers a 5-0 advantage. Two outs later, Erik Wetzel knocked a line-drive single into left field to bring Thomas Field home from third and give Tulsa a six-run lead.

Thomas field capped the evening off for the Drillers with a two-run triple in the bottom of the seventh to bring Rosario and Tim Wheeler home and give Tulsa an 8-0 lead.

The Drillers will now go for the three-game sweep at 7:05 p.m. Friday, before starting a three-game series against the Frisco Roughriders.
