Tulsa Voters To Consider Plan To Change City Government

TULSA, Oklahoma -- A citizens petition to change Tulsa's government will go on the ballot this fall. A group called Save Our Tulsa created the petition.

The plan would:

• Add three 'at large' positions to the city council, which would be chaired by the mayor.
• Make city elections non-partisan,
• Make city councilors terms only two years.

The petition will be on the ballot for voters to consider.
