TULSA, Oklahoma -- Touch screen technology has changed the way we use our cell phones. Now that same technology is making getting a soft drink a high-tech challenge.

So get ready for the touch screen Coke machine, the latest thing in fountain drink dispensing. It's called Coke Freestyle.

"All the basic coke brands are on here," said Jason Prout of Qdoba.

The freestyle aspect of this is all the flavor combinations available. Most you can't get anywhere else but out of this machine - 120 variations at least.

Take Coke for example. There's regular, cherry, orange, vanilla, raspberry, lime and cherry vanilla. That's just the Coke flavors. Same goes for the others too. In fact, if you get really good at it, you can probably create the ultimate suicide drink with a little bit of all 120.

Most folks we watched were getting something simple.

This is the absolute latest thing with Apple's touch screen technology and a box designed by Ferrari. Yes, like the race car.

The computer inside is connected to Coca Cola in Atlanta. They can troubleshoot from there.

Qdoba and a few Mazzio's have the new machine.

"We're testing it right now," Prout aid.

There's a learning curve to this. One dispensing nozzle replaces a whole row of them.

Jane Green from the Cotton Patch store nearby is my tour guide. She's a veteran. First you get your ice. Then you touch the one you want.

Beware of the fuddy-duddy factor; there are decisions to make.

"If you just want the plain it's that one in the middle," Green said.

Thank you, Jane. Next time I'll be ready. You'll need just about every one of those drink combinations to keep cool right now.
