Nebraska's Green Transferring To Tulsa

LINCOLN, Nebraska – Nebraska quarterback Cody Green has announced he's transferring to Tulsa.

Green decided to leave Nebraska after getting beaten out by Taylor Martinez for the starter's job last fall

The 6'4, 225 pound quarterback from Dayton, Texas must sit out this season, but will then have two years of eligibility remaining.

The news comes with good timing as Wednesday the Golden Hurricane announced that backup quarterback Shavodrick Beaver will transfer from Tulsa to Midwestern State in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Green was one of the top 10 quarterback prospects in the country coming out of high school two years ago.
