SAPULPA, Oklahoma – In his first start in six days, Archie Bradley turned in another dominant performance Thursday. The 6A No. 1 Broken Arrow Tigers took down the Sapulpa Chieftains 10-2 in Sapulpa.
The bats were going from the start for the Tigers, as Jacob Evans’ two-run single in the top of the first got the Tigers off to an early 2-0 lead. In the top half of the second, Mak Monckton and Zac Mills hit back-to-back solo home runs and it was all Broken Arrow from there. Archie Bradley finished the day with a complete game, striking out ten and walking none. He allowed five hits and two earned runs, as well as hitting a batter.
Broken Arrow’s next game will be tomorrow against Southmoore at Jenks at 4:00 pm. Sapulpa’s next contest will be Saturday at Berryhill at 1:00 pm. Archie Bradley’s next start will likely be Monday, April 4th at Union.
