BROKEN ARROW, Oklahoma—The Memorial Chargers used the final seconds of regulation to tip-toe their way to a 56-55 win over the McAlester Buffaloes.
With about four minutes to play, Memorial led by seven points but the Buffaloes battle back to cut the lead to one thanks to a free throw by Kaleisha Johnson.
As the clock ticked away the final seconds, Memorial tipped away a McAlester inbounds pass to move on to the state tournament.
Miracle Davis led the score for the Chargers with 16 points while Faith Ihim added 13.
Johnson scored a game-high 24 points for McAlester.
