Yukon Advances Past Westmoore

The Millerettes will take on Midwest City in the Regional Championship Friday.

MIDWEST CITY, Oklahoma -- The Yukon Millerettes knocked out Westmoore 43-29 to advance to the Regional Championship Thursday.

Yukon led most of the way and had a 25-19 lead at half.

The Millerettes used a balanced scoring attack in the win, Mackenzie York and Jade Hardy each scored 11 for Yukon.

Brittany Alavinejad led Westmoore with 16. Alavinejad had 14 of the Lady Jags points at half, but Yukon was able to shut her down in the 2nd half, only allowing her to score 2 points.

Yukon will face the defending state champs Midwest City at 1:30 back at Midwest City on Saturday.
