TECUMSEH, Oklahoma – A fight broke out during a high school basketball game in Tecumseh Friday night as the Tecumseh Savages took on the Riverside Braves.
Witnesses said a hard foul on the court turned into a bench-clearing brawl between the teams.
One spectator said the foul was called on a Tecumseh player in the fourth quarter. Multiple spectators said it was a bad call and caused players to start yelling at each other and the fight began.
Police officers came in to break up the fight and pointed a taser at one player and handcuffed another. No players were taken into custody and the handcuffed player was later released.
Tecumseh was winning 67-30 in the fourth quarter when the game was called due to the fight.
Once the teams were separated, police escorted the Riverside High School basketball team out of Tecumseh.
