SKIATOOK, Oklahoma – The #1 team in 6A basketball took their show to the Skiatook Invitational on Thursday and came away with a 73-56 over Owasso.
The Edmond Memorial Bulldogs improved their record to 8-0 with the 17-point victory over the Rams at the Skiatook Multipurpose Events Center. By halftime, the ‘Dogs lead was already up to 44-21, and the second half saw both teams’ benches get their chance to play. Memorial senior James Woodard led all scorers with 21 points, including a nice one-handed dunk in the 1st quarter. The leading scorer for the Rams was junior Connor Coleman with 11.
Edmond Memorial will face Jenks on Friday at 8:30 pm in the tournament semifinals, while Owasso plays host Skiatook at 2:30 pm on Friday.
