TULSA, Oklahoma – The Jenks Trojans were not able to overcome their own poor shooting on Tuesday, and the Union Redskins capitalized with a 58-35 victory at the UMAC.
Jenks shot just 34 % from the floor on Tuesday night, and the Redskins ended up with a 55 percent field goal percentage. Union was able to get out to an early 9-2 lead in the 1st Quarter and by the end of the 3rd, the game was virtually over; the ‘Skins led 44-19.
Next up for Jenks is the Skiatook Tournament, which begins on Thursday. The Redskins will attempt to win their 7th game of the season starting Thursday in the Putnam City Tourney.
