Once again it’s time for the Oklahoma Sports Top Five Plays of the Week, and round four of the playoffs was packed with top choices.
Starting at five, in the Class 5A State Championship game, it’s Booker T. Washington’s Isaac Bennett who slid his way to two touchdowns and 222 yards in the Hornets gold ball victory.
At number four it’s Heritage Hall’s Markus Wakefield who falls on the fumble for the Charger Touchdown.
Next up in the three spot is from the Morrison vs. Stratford game. Stratford’s Tommy Lawson with the interception in the back of the endzone helps the squad move on to the championship game against Woodland next week.
Coming in second is Willie Zachary’s elusive play that helped move Woodland on to the gold ball game next week.
Finally, the OERB Play of the Week from the state’s largest class of football, the Jenks vs. Union 6A State Championship game. Kale Pearson tosses it to Stephon Weaver who will go deep and find Christian Hood. That double pass helped Union to its third state title.
