Davis Knocks off Defending Champ Lincoln Christian

TULSA, Oklahoma – The Davis Wolves are advancing to the 2A semifinals after a 21-7 victory over defending champion Lincoln Christian.

The Bulldogs took an early lead in the game when Chris Turner hit Brennan Evans on a 43-yard touchdown strike.

Davis would strike back on the ensuing possession. Cole Weber aired it out to Matt Burba for a long gain before he was marked down on the one yard line. Logan Webb would punch it in to tie the game at seven.

The Wolves would not allow another score and would tack on two of their own to eliminate the defending champs. The Bulldogs end their season at 10-3. The Wolves will meet Colcord in the semifinals.
