ANADARKO, Oklahoma – The Anadarko Warriors continued to steamroll their opposition Friday in a 48-7 blowout of Newcastle.
The Warriors (12-0) remained undefeated on the season and have only been truly threatened twice all year. They defeated Tuttle by seven and Bridge Creek by 12, but won their other 10 games by a combined score of 440-65.
Anadarko will now coast into the quarterfinals to face fellow No. 1 seed Metro Christian, which has had significantly more trouble in the first two rounds. The Patriots escaped the first round with a 17-14 win before soundly defeating Valliant 34-14 Friday.
