East Central Blasts Past Skiatook

The Cardinals soared through their first game against the Bulldogs.

TULSA, Oklahoma—East Central opened the first round of Class 5A playoffs with a 30-8 victory over Skiatook.

Cardinal wide receiver Dino Teague had four receptions for 99 yards and three touchdowns while Daunte Burge had 17 carries for 118 yards.

Willie Wise punched in a one-yard touchdown and overall East Central rushed for 203 yards.

The Cardinal defense limited Skiatook to 128 total yards.

The Bulldogs were led by Connor Appelberg with 29 carries for 63 yards and a touchdown.

East Central moves to 10-1 while Skiatook finishes at 4-7.

The Cardinals now host Carl Albert (9-2) Nov. 19 at 7:30 p.m.
