OKLAHOMA CITY—The Chargers stomped their way to an undefeated regular season and 3A-3 district crown with a 42-14 win over Kingfisher.
Heritage hall led 35-14 at halftime thanks to a great play by Chedon Shockley who had a 45-yard fun on the first play of the game.
Heritage Hall’s Sterling Shepard had four touchdowns on the evening one for 64-yards and another for 21. Impressively enough this is Shepard’s third game with four touchdowns this year. The junior finished with four catches for 96 yards.
Heritage Hall’s quarterback Cooper Cloud finished with 171 yards and three touchdowns.
All in all the Chargers totaled 18 first downs, 285 yards on the ground and 171 through the air.
Kingfisher finishes with an overall 6-3 record and 3-3 in district.
The Chargers (10-0, 7-0) were once again without star running back Barry Sanders Jr., but he should return for the playoffs as Heritage Hall will open against the number four team of 3A-4.
