YUKON, Oklahoma--The Yukon Millers roll into week six with a 4-1 record on the season and this week’s Oklahoma Sports spirit stick award.
Yukon began the season with a 43-28 win over the Mustang Broncos and have continued to come together and improve as the season continues.
Led by head coach Todd Wilson, who is also the high school principal, the Millers week five win over Norman North 35-17 made them a perfect candidate for this week’s spirit stick honors.
Oklahoma Sports anchor/reporter Toby Rowland personally delivered the spirit stick to the Millers in a special school wide pep rally complete with cheerleaders, football players and coaches and the marching band.
