Victory Christian Overcomes Checotah for Second Win

TULSA, Oklahoma – The Victory Christian Conquerors defeated Checotah 28-20 Friday to win their second game of the season.

The Conquerors (2-3, 1-1) came into the season without winning a game since 2008, but ended that streak in the first game of the season. The last time they won more than two games in a season came in 2007, when they went 6-5.

Victory Christian will try to win its second straight next week against Beggs (3-2, 2-0), while Checotah (3-2, 1-1) will take on Roland.
