GUTHRIE, Oklahoma – The Deer Creek Antlers just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Guthrie, still one of the top teams in 5A, was out to prove itself after a stunning loss to Enid and beat up on the Antlers 41-7 on Friday.

The Bluejays scored on their first five possessions and took a 41-0 halftime lead.

Guthrie (3-1) will head to Ada next week while Deer Creek (2-2) will return home to take on Southeast.
