OKLAHOMA CITY -- After a seven-win improvement in 2009, the John Marshall Bears started off the 2010 season with a 27-9 win over the Northwest Classen Knights Friday.

The Bears (1-0) will continue to adjust to their class next Friday at home against the Cache Bulldogs – who upset former district rival Tuttle 15-14. Northwest Classen (0-1) will try to notch its first win of the season next Friday as they host the Northeast Academy Vikings.
