OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Waurika Eagles may have a small squad, but the team is packed with experienced players. The roster has only three seniors, with the junior class providing the majority of the team.
Most of those juniors, including tail end Evan Waid, tight end Taylor Fuller, guard Dillon Pruett, quarterback Tyler Fuller and offensive tackle Kevin Guzman.
“It’s like having seniors hanging around, they bought into the system, the staff has had a lot of continuity,” Coach Larry VanBeber said.
The junior-laden team is looking forward to their rivals, the Ringling Blue Devils.
“It’ll be real good for us to beat them,” said Waid.
