Talihina Crushes Dale, Sets Up Rematch in Finals

OKLAHOMA CITY – Talihina took down Dale 58-34 Friday to set up a rematch with Pawnee in the Class 2A state finals.

Talihina jumped out to a 32-15 lead at half in large thanks to junior Jordan EagleRoad who had 15 at the break. EagleRoad finished with 28 and fellow junior Taggart Lockhart added 14.

Talihina and Pawnee went into overtime in last year’s final, and the Black Bears came away with a 44-43 victory.

The rematch between the two teams is set for 9:15 p.m. Saturday at State Fair Arena.
