SKIATOOK, Oklahoma -- Midwest City jumped out to an early lead , but it took over time to down Edmond Memorial 60-55.
The Bombers jumped out to an early 10-4 lead, led by Xavier McClish, who scored six early points.
Midwest City built a 10 point halftime lead, but Memorial pulled within one in the fourth on a Jared Jobe three-point play.
Trael Colbert responded on the next Bombers’ possession with a 3-pointer of his own, to extend the lead back to four.
Both teams traded missed free throws late in regulation, but James Woodard knocked down a 3-pointer to tie it up with three seconds left.
With 20 seconds left in overtime Trael Colbert took over, hitting two free throws, coming up with a steal and converting a three-point play to put the game out of reach.
McClish led all scorers with 20, while Trael Colbert added 16, and Trez Colbert added 13 for Midwest City.
Jobe led the Bulldogs with 17 points. Edmond Memorial finishes the season 21-7.
The Bombers take on Putnam City West Friday in the Mabee Center.
