SAPULPA, Oklahoma – The Union girls advanced in the Class 6A area tournament with a 34-24 victory over Shawnee Thursday.

Both teams struggled to produce consistent scoring, and only one player – Union’s Larrielle Giles – scored in double figures. She scored 10, and Taylor Fluke led Shawnee with eight points.
