Beggs Wins Third Straight With Victory Over Mounds

MOUNDS, Oklahoma -- Beggs won its third straight and completed a season sweep of Mounds with a 57-45 win over the Eagles on Monday night.

Ramsey Hamilton led the way for the Demons with 16 points and Blair Williams added 12. Mounds’ Austin Spradley also finished with 16.

Beggs jumped out to an early 12-3 lead behind hot three-point shooting and went into the second period with a 22-12 lead after a Newt Bush three-pointer at the buzzer. The Eagles kept pace in the second quarter, but the Demons went into the break up 33-22.

Beggs held onto its lead throughout the second half and went on to win.

The Demons welcome Morris to town on Friday, while the Eagles will look to rebound on Tuesday against Olive.
