WICHITA, Kansas -- Oklahoma State wouldn’t mind hitting the jackpot in Wichita again. The sunflower state delivered Barry Sanders to Stillwater back in the 1980’s, now another Wichita native is on his way to Oklahoma State University.
Wichita Southeast senior Joseph Randle signed a letter of intent with the Cowboys on Wednesday. The running back is listed as a four-star recruit according to Rivals. The speedy running back had offers from a long list of schools, which included Kansas State, Kansas, Arizona, Boston College, Iowa and Mississippi.
The University of Kansas invited Randle to visit in January, but Joseph declined and remained a solid verbal commitment to Oklahoma State.
Joseph’s older brother John played for the University of Kansas, before transferring to Southern Illinois University.
