Harrah Girls Take Down Verdigris in Port City Classic

CATOOSA, Oklahoma – Harrah advanced to the girls championship of the Port City Classic with a 46-34 win over Verdigris on Friday night.

The Panthers jumped out to a 14-4 lead in the first quarter behind an eight-point effort by Jessica Hobbs.

Verdigris scored 12 points in the second quarter, but trailed 28-16 at the half and never recovered.

Harrah will play Claremore in the girls title game at 7:00 p.m., while Verdigris will face Bixby in the 3rd place game at 4:00 p.m.
