Guthrie Advances to Titan Classic Finals

MIDWEST CITY, Oklahoma – The Guthrie Bluejays came away with a big win over Midwest City in the Carl Albert Titan Classic Friday.

The game remained close from start to finish. Kentrell Brothers hit a shot with 18 seconds left to give Guthrie the lead, and Midwest City was unable to respond.

Devon Hall led Guthrie with 16 points, and Greg Austin led Midwest City with 12.

Guthrie will now move on to face Douglass – the No. 1-ranked team in Class 4A – in the finals of the Titan Classic on Saturday.
