Duncan Demons Defeat Ada Cougars

The Demons were able to hold onto their big lead against the Cougars.

PURCELL, Oklahoma -- Duncan downed Ada 74-60 in the first round of the Heart of Oklahoma tournament at Purcell.

Jared Griffin had 22 points for the Demons while Ryan Cox and Dominique Petties each finished with 14.

Jackson Stone’s 3-pointer gave Duncan a 19-9 lead in the first quarter. Duncan was on top 40-20 at the half.

Ada pulled to within 10 in the fourth quarter but could not get any closer.

Nick Anderson had 17 for the Cougars.
