One player’s name that will continue to rise throughout the year is Duncan’s Dominique Petties. Petties already had an offer from the Texas Tech coaching staff under Mike Leach. However, Petties said the Tommy Tuberville regime will honor his offer. The Demons star said he is expecting an offer from Arizona soon as well. However, there is one school that is at the top of his list.

“I really love OU,” Petties said.

Petties is being recruited as an athlete. After visiting OU’s Junior Day Jan. 16 Petties said the OU coaches like him as a safety. He is also cousins with former OU stars Tony and Terry Peters. But Petties is also planning a trip to in-state rival Oklahoma State at the end of the month.

“There’s one [Junior Day] coming up on the 30th at OSU,” Petties said. “I’m not sure I’m going to make it but I’m going to try.”

Petties said Tulsa and Missouri have been in contact with him as well.
