EDMOND, Oklahoma -- The Edmond Santa Fe Wolves remained undefeated Tuesday with a thrilling 56-52 victory over defending state champion Putnam City.

The game remained close throughout the night. Santa Fe led by as much as eight, but PCO fought back and eliminated the deficit. The two teams went back and forth for the rest of the game.

With slightly less than three minutes left in the game, Dominique Raney hit a jumper to give Putnam City a 52-51 lead. That was the last time the Pirates scored.

A.J. Anderson hit two free throws to give the lead back to the Wolves, and they went on to hit more free throws to clinch the victory.

Santa Fe is now 10-0 and will move on to take part in the Jenks/Union Invitational beginning Thursday. After stringing together 11 consecutive victories, Putnam City has now lost two of its last four games.
