TULSA, Oklahoma – The Edison Eagles survived a close game for the second time this week. The Eagles took down Booker T. Washington on the road in front of a packed house 63-52 Friday night.

The win marked the second time this week the Eagles had to come from behind to win a district game. On Tuesday, Edison trailed by double-digits at the half to East Central after scoring just seven points in the second quarter. Tonight, the Eagles managed to score just ten points in the first quarter while giving up some big plays to the Hornets.

Booker T. Washington got sharp shooting from Dante Barnett, and Tharone Chilton pumped up the rowdy orange-and-black crowd with a huge slam to give the Hornets an eight point lead.

For the second time this week, Edison made a late run and found a way to pull out a win. The Eagles haven’t lost since a November 24th game at Memorial. They will hit the road again on Tuesday when they visit Nathan Hale.
