EDMOND, Oklahoma -- Edmond Memorial is home to two D-I prospects in 2011. While athlete Kameron Doolittle receives most of the attention, interest has picked up for teammate Connor Myers.
“It’s been pretty hectic,” Myers said. “I have several schools interested in me right now. Missouri is probably the most interested in me right now. I’ve talked to their offensive line coach [Josh Henson]. But OSU has sent me a lot of mail. OU has asked for film.”
Myers has played defensive line his entire career for the Bulldogs but says Missouri is talking to him about switching sides.
“[Henson] said he liked me at offensive center,” Myers said. “I wouldn’t mind playing offense at Missouri. That’d be cool because they get all the [publicity] there. Defensive line is my main position and I’d really like to play d-line. Either or, whichever one gets me a D-1 scholarship, that’d be the best.”
Myers said he plans on attending Missouri’s Junior Day January 30.
