EDMOND, Oklahoma – In a battle of two of the best teams in the state, the Edmond Santa Fe Wolves won a close contest 54-51 over the Putnam City West Patriots Tuesday.

Senior Tyler Neal scored 31 points for P.C. West, including 20 of the team’s 24 first-half points, but the Patriots still could not pull out a victory.

Santa Fe (8-0) and P.C. West (7-3) are regarded as two of the top five teams in the state, but the Wolves took a major step forward and kept their undefeated record intact.
