Little Axe's Peyton Watson Flown to Hospital

MEEKER, Oklahoma -- Little Axe’s Peyton Watson was taken by helicopter to OU Medical Center Tuesday after sustaining a head injury during a girls’ basketball game.

Fans in attendance at Little Axe’s game against Meeker told Oklahoma Sports that Watson was hit in midair and hit her head on the floor when she came down. The fans said she was in stable condition, but was flown to the hospital as a precaution.

OU medical officials confirmed that Watson was flown to OU Medical Center and is in good condition.
