EDMOND, Oklahoma -- Kara Drewke is a normal teenage girl. She plays soccer and basketball and takes tap and ballet lessons. But on Friday nights Kara trades in her soccer ball and dance shoes for a football.
Kara is the kicker and punter for Oklahoma Christian Academy. The Eagles didn't have a kicker, so Kara approached Head Coach Keith Lough about kicking for the team.
Now, she's using her grace as a dancer on the gridiron as the team's kicker, and she wants to send a message every time she steps on the field.
"I think if you put your mind on something, and it's your dream, you need to just go for it. You don't just stop at something, you can do anything you want to do," Drewke said.
