CLAREMORE, Oklahoma -- Rural Water District Number 3 in rural Rogers County says it has been forced to implement mandatory rationing effective immediately.

The district released a schedule in an effort to conserve water which includes no watering on Sundays.

Read the mandatory rationing schedule.

Customers who don't follow the schedule face a written warning and even having their water cut off.

The rural water district includes customers in Rogers, Mayes and Tulsa counties with customers near the communities of Owasso, Collinsville, Claremore, Chelsea and Foyil.
