TULSA, Oklahoma -- An 80-year-old Tulsa woman died as a result of a house fire Sunday morning.
Tulsa Police Sergeant Jeff Cealka said the woman's son arrived at the home in the 2400 block of North Winston to check on his mother at about 8:30 a.m.
"He found that very tragically, she is deceased as a result of an accidental fire," Cealka said.
The fire was isolated to a section of the home and did not cause the entire house to burn.
Fire investigators says the cause of the fire is 'undetermined', but they believe it was accidential.
The name of the woman has not been released, pending notification of next of kin.
