TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa has a new distinction. The AARP says it's one of the most affordable places to retire.
They looked at 350 cities, comparing the cost of housing, property and sales taxes and economic stability.
The group also considered recreation options like the BOK Center, Philbrook museum and outdoor trails.
"My son came from California, and he said he's never seen walking and biking trails like this," said Marjorie Lyons, Oklahoma AARP President.
In the end, Tulsa was among the top places for seniors looking for the best bang for their buck.
