TULSA, Oklahoma -- The city of Tulsa says the intersection of East 36th Street and South Hudson Avenue will close Friday evening through Monday morning for concrete pavement reconstruction.
After that, construction continues on South Hudson Avenue between East 36th Street and East 41st Street, with traffic limited to one southbound lane until August 10, 2011.
Officials say this construction, which amounts to $3.2 million is part of a larger street rehabilitation project that includes most streets within the boundaries of East 36th Street, East 41st Street, South Darlington Avenue and South Hudson Avenue.
Completion of the entire project is scheduled for June 2012.
