Borders Stores In Oklahoma And Rest Of U.S. Closing For Good

The nation's second largest book store chain is closing for good.  Borders first filed for bankruptcy protection back in February.

TULSA, Oklahoma -- The nation's second largest book store chain is closing for good.  Borders first filed for bankruptcy protection back in February.

The company was hoping a buyer would step in and save the chain.  That didn't happen so now it goes in to liquidation.

Borders has nearly 11,000 employees nationwide and still has a store open in Norman.

Two Borders stores in Tulsa shut down earlier this year.
