OKLAHOMA CITY -- The FBI in Oklahoma City is looking for a man connected to a string of bank robberies in Oklahoma and Missouri.

FBI spokesman Clayton Simmonds says they believe the same man is responsible for four bank robberies in Oklahoma City and the July 13, 2011 robbery of a bank in Joplin, Missouri.

Surveillance cameras recorded the man on June 29, 2011, as he entered the IBC Bank in Oklahoma City.

The man is white, between 5-feet-7 and 6 feet tall, with a thin build and possibly in his late 20s or early 30s.

The FBI says he wore a fake beard and drove a silver Volkswagen Jetta.

Simmonds says the man may be from the Tulsa area.

At this point, the man is just a person of interest and has not been charged with robbing any of the banks.

Callers to the FBI office in Oklahoma City at 405-290-7770 can remain anonymous.

The Oklahoma Banker's Association offers a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the identification and/or arrest of anyone who robs a member bank.
