Tulsa Police Investigate Deadly Double Shooting

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Two people are dead after a double-shooting in north Tulsa Sunday night.

Tulsa Police say a relative of one of the victims stopped by their home near 53rd Street North and Hartford. When no one answered the door, she went inside and immediately noticed something was wrong.

She flagged down a police officer -- he went in and found a man and women shot to death. Police say they had received a call about problems in the area earlier in the day.

Police say children who live in the home are with family members and were not present at the time of the shooting.

Police say the one of the shooting victims is a family member to a Tulsa County Deputy. The Sheriff Department is assisting in the investigation.

Police are still interviewing potential witnesses, but don't have a lot of information right now.
