Former News On 6 Sports Anchor Headed To ESPNU

CHARLOTTE, North Carolina -- Former News On 6 sports anchor and reporter, Dari Nowkhah is the newest anchor for ESPNU, the 24 hour college sports network.

Since joining is ESPN in 2004 as an anchor, Nowkhah has hosted Collge Football Overdrive, College Football Live and SEC network studio shows for ESPN.

"I'm a college sports junkie and to be a host on a network devoted entirely to college sports, well, that's just a dream come true," said Nowkhah.

Nowkhah will be headed to ESPNU studio desk in Charlotte, North Carolina. His first day is July 27, 2011. 

He graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1998.  Nowkhah worked at News On 6 from 2002 to 2004.
