Lone Robber Hits Tulsa Bank On South Lewis

TULSA, Oklahoma -- A lone black male with a handgun robbed a Tulsa bank Thursday morning.

Shortly after 9 a.m. Tulsa Police say the man armed with a handgun entered the City National Bank branch in the 5800 block of South Lewis, hopped onto the counter and demanded money from a teller.

Police say the suspect is between 18 to 25 years of age, 6' tall and weighing about 170 pounds.  He was wearing a black brimmed green hat, a black do-rag or fabric of some kind used as a mask, a white long sleeve t-shirt, and black or blue jean shorts.

After getting the cash, the suspect ran out of the bank.

No one was hurt during the robbery.

Anyone with information about the suspect or the robbery is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
