TULSA, Oklahoma – The Tulsa Shock has added veteran guard Doneeka Lewis to its 11-player roster.
Lewis, a 5'9 guard, last played with the Indiana Fever in 2008 and averaged seven minutes per game.
"She's another quick guard that we feel will help our team," said Tulsa General Manager and Head Coach Nolan Richardson. "She's a player who has been in the league and will bring more experience to our back court."
After attending Louisiana State University, Lewis was selected as the 25th overall pick in the second round of the 2004 WNBA Draft by the Los Angeles Sparks. She played three seasons in Los Angeles before briefly playing for Seattle in 2007 and Indiana in 2008.
Lewis will suit up this Friday July 8 when the Shock hosts the Phoenix Mercury inside the BOK Center at 7 p.m.
