Fire Damages Broken Arrow Family's Home

BROKEN ARROW, Oklahoma -- A Broken Arrow family is spending the Independence Day holiday cleaning up after a fire at their home.

The family was visiting a neighbor late Sunday night when the fire started at their home near West Decator and Sycamore Place.

When firefighters arrived, they found part of the home and two cars on fire. The family says they're glad they weren't home at the time because the children's bedrooms were in the part of the house that had the worst damage.

No one was hurt. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
