TULSA, Oklahoma -- Most of us are trying to avoid the heat right now, but some Tulsa kids went inside to work with even more heat on Friday.
Fifteen students and their counselors-in-training from the Salvation Army's Boys and Girls Club got a hands-on lesson at Tulsa's Glass Blowing Studio. They went through the whole process with professional glassblowers from picking colors to helping shape the glass.
Niva Grayson, Student: "This is a good experience," said Niva Grayson, student. "It's different, we're not used to doing stuff like this - and its really fun."
